It’s A Black-Tie Kinda Night
After the last few crappy years we’ve all had, it’s not surprising a lot of people are going out – as in, ‘out-out’ – to celebrate the start of a brand new 12 months. If you paid a pretty penny to kick your heels up, you should do it in style. After all, there’s nothing quite like NYE to have an excuse to really dress up. We love a long black dress, maybe with a cut-out or two, combined with a statement bag, high heels and some fabulous jewellery. Add a slick of red lipstick – something we’ve become a fan of only of late – for the perfect finishing look.

Great food, good music, lots of booze and no queues – what’s not to love about ringing in the New Year at a friend’s house party. For a fun night filled with dining and dancing, sequined separates are definitely the way to go. Balance your statement metallic pieces with everyday staples, like a sequinned jacket worn with a simple cami and jeans, or a white T-shirt to temper down a shimmering feathered skirt. When it comes to accessories, keep things simple with low-key jewellery and minimal heels. Or even trainers for the ultimate high-low/dance-all-night-long look.

If a takeaway, luxe pjs and your favourite movie sounds like your idea of actual heaven, then what better way is there to begin 2023? Start as you mean to go on, we say.
