Is Face Icing The Key To Sienna Miller’s Great Skin?
The actress swears by this beauty technique.
Why Sienna Miller loves face icing
Depending on where in the world you live right now, the idea of icing your face might send shivers down your spine or sound rather divine. Either way, it’s a year-round skincare strategy for Sienna Miller: “I like an intense facial massage,” she told the Telegraph. “I think it’s so important. I see the facialist Una Brennan, who operates out of her living-room in Notting Hill in London — I call it ‘Una’s Chambers’. It’s a pretty intense experience: she uses freezing ice masks that make you feel as if your brain is going to fall out of the top of your head. You look wonderful afterwards, though.”

Miller’s not the only one who swears by a little face icing. Kate Moss and Bella Hadid start each morning by plunging their faces into bowls of ice cubes – a beauty routine made famous by Marilyn Monroe who was obsessed with prepping her skin with the same refreshing facial ice bath. More recently, aestheticians have been using everything from frozen aloe vera to icy teaspoons and face rollers as part of their famous facials.

Want to tap into the global beauty trend of face sculpting? Work a frozen ice cube from the centre of the chin along the jawline to the earlobe, then upward towards the highs of the cheekbones, under-eye region, and across the forehead. Repeat the massage for five minutes to get the firming, contouring effect.
