Shine Bright With Metallics
Glistening metallics are most often associated with the festive season. But who’s to say you shouldn’t sparkle, rain, hail or shine? Whether autumn’s en route, or spring is in full swing, there’s no better time to get your glitz on.
The FW22 runways were awash with shimmer, with the likes of Valentino, Balenciaga and Prada all mining (and pining) for metal. Now metallics are taking over the high street too – here are three ways to nail the look…

Look 1: Hot Pink Pops

For a fun night out, bright pops of colour are a must – and hot pink continues to dominate the fashion agenda this season. A sexy bra worn under a crisp, white, off-the-shoulder shirt, with matching mules and dazzling earrings creates a showstopping effect, perfectly complementing the metallic trousers and handbag.

Look 2: Contrast Metallics With Black

To add an electric jolt of go-anywhere chic, combine slouchy silver boots with an understated black midi dress. Silver and black accessories add an extra punch.

Look 3: Daytime Glitz

It’s time to ditch the black leather jacket for something altogether more eye-catching. To make your metallics daytime appropriate, pair them with clean and simple wardrobe staples, like your favourite jeans, white trainers and a classic Breton top.
